VPSNine is coming back.Accounts open, orders soon
59 seconds is our target, not yet a measured average: from your payment confirming to your server answering on SSH. One-click apps finish installing after that. What 59 seconds means
KVM servers on NVMe with root access, an IPv4 and an IPv6 address. Try the order below: pick a distribution, an app and a size, and watch what the build will look like.
You can create an account now and add your SSH keys. Ordering opens at launch.

ssh root@203.0.113.42The three steps the preview above plays. Nobody approves an order by hand once orders open; our target is SSH within 59 seconds of the payment confirming.
Pick a distribution, an app if you want one, and a size. Pay with Bitcoin or PayPal, monthly or for a year.
What happens when you orderThe build starts the moment your payment confirms: a KVM slice, an NVMe disk cloned from the official image, then cloud-init sets the network, your keys and the hostname.
What 59 seconds meansLog in as root on your own IPv4 or IPv6 address. If SSH ever won't let you in, the serial console in your browser will.

Invoices are priced in US dollars. If you pay in Bitcoin, the BTC amount is set at checkout; refunds follow the dollar value.
On-chain Bitcoin through a BTCPay Server we run ourselves, with no processor in the middle, or PayPal.
Paying in BitcoinNo lock-in either way. Paying for 12 months at once saves up to 12% against paying monthly.
Payment methodsIf it isn't for you, ask within 14 days of paying for your first order and get the invoice's amount back.
How refunds workFounded in 2011. Relaunching on a new platform. A small host: the people who answer your tickets are the people who run the platform. These are unmanaged servers, so what runs inside yours, and its backups, is yours to look after.
The ones people ask before they order. All questions
Our first location is being chosen now. We'll announce it to the waitlist and here before orders open.
No. You get root and run the server yourself: system updates, the software you install and its backups are yours to look after. We look after the hardware, the network and the platform, and support tickets go to the people who operate it. The Terms of Service set out who looks after what.
No. You can keep up to three snapshots per server to undo a change, but they live with the server and are deleted with it, so they aren't backups. Keep copies of your data on another machine: Backups you should run shows how.
Yes, as add-ons: extra RAM, vCPUs, NVMe disk, transfer and IPv4 addresses, up to a limit for each plan. Choose them when you order or later from the server's page; they're billed for the same term as the server. Their prices are on the plans page. If you outgrow the limits, order a bigger plan and move across: Choosing a plan walks through it.
Outbound port 25 is blocked by default on new servers, to keep spam off the addresses everyone here shares. Most apps can send through a mail service on port 587 or 465 instead. If you run a real mail server, open a support ticket; we review it and open port 25 for that server. See sending email.
Join the waitlist and we'll send you one email when VPSNine launches. Pick a plan if you already know which one you want, and we'll size the first servers around it.
